Knee pain is common and here is part of an extract of current discussions on evidence on treatment of one source of knee pain in the middle-aged and elderly people.  The knee pain is associated with degenerative mensical lesions in the middle-aged and elderly person   The confusion is related to that some people will find knee surgery beneficial and others it will only cause increased pain due to healing with scar tissues or other potential surgical complications


 
 
 

 
 

 
 
 
 
In the older age group research is now beginning to prove that shoulder surgery is not such a good idea as we had all originally thought and therefore people are looking for alternative forms of rehabilitation and treatment.
If you look on the NHS website you will see that they encourage gentle rehabilitation knee exercises.
