Physiotherapy Electrotherapy was first introduced to me over 30 years ago by a wonderful physiotherapist where I worked in a well known Health Spa used by many celebrities. Physiotherapy Electrotherapy has come on a long way and there are many more approaches, machines and diagnostic advances of which many are used in the States and Europe. At the moment, here in the Great Britain physiotherapy is restricted to exercises and hands on. The use electrotherapy has been greatly reduced with the result that I combine physiotherapy electrotherapy with many of my treatments as electrotherapy has been well evidence based and researched by Professor Tim Watson. He has a new website and here is a link to Key Concepts in Electrotherapy By reading Professor Tim Watson`s Key Concepts in Electrotherapy there is a huge range of potential approaches which can be used to enhance Osteopathy, Cranial Osteopathy, Myofascial Release and simple soft tissue and manipulation to encourage ongoing chronic tissues to repair and increase your quality in life.
Electrotherapy combined with gentle cranial osteopathy or myofasical release is much more comfortable and safer for the older chronic low back inflammations which can travel down the legs, making one stiff and soar on even simple walking to the bus stop.
The reason is all this combination of electrotherapy and gentle osteopathy for the chronic conditions is time consuming and as many of the patients are over 60 years old and retired and therefore on a restricted income it is expensive
Helen is keeping her fees to £35.00 per hour at the moment will allows her older local population with ongoing aches and pains to return for further electrotherapy as needed so they can go shopping and meet their friends and family for as long as they are able to keep mobile.
