My 21 year son recently fractured his right lower leg down in Sheffield playing American Football.  We would like to thank the brilliant paramedical team who stretched him off and transported to The Rotherham General Hospital  to their A & E Fracture Team.  Their senior consultant and his physiotherapists had my son up walking within 7 days.  I would like to thank Better Perform as I took with me Cefar Compex Electrotherapy  used by Premier League Football and English Rugby and many more . The cefar compex rehab 4  has special programmes to prevent atrophy and wasting of the muscles and programmes to increase the rate of healing and removal of debris, bruising and healing of the bones.

Two weeks later my son is walking around outside weight bearing on his crutches up here and able to weight bear in the house with no crutches.   His walking gait is almost normal with mininum exercises as the cefar compex means he does not need to irritate and inflame the healing process of his fractures and his soft tissues by painful stretches and lots of other rehabilition exercises..  Three weeks later he can almost walk without his crutches but he has to use his crutches until he has been to have another X-ray  All I can say is no wonder the Premier League use this techniques.

If you read my earlier blog you will see I attended the SEMS Conference held recently at the Emirates Stadium (Arsenal) London.  I specially went down because I had beeen taught to use a neuromuscular stimulator 10 years ago which again was used by a well known athlete.  I took the old fashioned stimulator down to conference and I felt really old fashioned when I found out that Europe now  uses CERFAR COMPEX   which is combination of German and Swedish advanced electrotherapy technology.

I can only say it is brilliant as my son 2 weeks later is sitting upright pain free with both his legs down playing video games with his friends.  He is weight bearing, his quadriceps are firing and working well and his calves muscles are loose and comfortable.  He has been concentrating on studying for his university exams and he has not needed to follow a painful traditional programme of rehabilitation exercises.  No wonder the elite athletics use Cefar compex.   It is quicker, more efficient, less painful and can be used at home and one does not need endless sessions with a therapist.  In the end less expensive too for the professional athletics.

At the moment the feedback is so good from other patients that I have bought the Theta 600 Mi.  I would not normal invest is such expensive equipment.  The only problem is they improve much faster with this technology that they do not need very many treatment sessions.
